A SPA mum has spoken about her horror after becoming the victim of a six-month campaign of harassment and anti-social behaviour.
Emma Hewitt, from St Richard's Gardens, claims she has been subjected to nightly attacks on her home that have seen eggs, stones and fireworks thrown at the building by local youths.
She says that despite regular calls to the police nothing has been done to prevent the problem which she fears could endanger her six-month-old daughter Rhiannon.
"This has been happening from around the time my daughter was born," said 26-year-old Emma.
"It is very scary and I fear she could be hurt. It happens at night when it is dark and when my daughter is trying to sleep. I am petrified."
Emma said that she has had windows cracked in her home and that there has even been a case of someone attempting to break the gas pipe at the house.
"I have reported the problem to the police, but it still goes on. I have spoken with the housing association in charge of the building, but it cannot move me either."
Emma believes that someone with a grudge against her could be encouraging local youths to commit the vandalism and harassment.
"We have a constant problem with youngsters in the area. They are targeting me for a reason and I think they may even be being paid to cause me problems by someone else because of how regularly this happens."
She also thinks that the on-going problem is to blame for regular bouts of depression which have been getting worse since the harassment started.
"Something needs to be done about the problem. The police need to take note of how bad it is for us. We should not have to put up with it," she said.
A Droitwich Spa police spokesman said that complaints of harassment in the St Richard's Gardens area - believed to be linked to a neighbourhood dispute - are under investigation.
