THERE'S an action-packed night of kick boxing on the agenda at Evesham WMC on Sunday when members of the Evesham club will be vying for a couple of titles.
Steve Hooper is taking on Dutch opponent Harry Duvan when the WKA Inter-Continental belt will be up for grabs in a super heavyweight bout over ten rounds.
Hooper's clubmate Holly Deakin is another hoping to land a prestigious title when she tackles Genna McMurdo for the women's English national crown over five two-minute rounds.
There will be more title action when Fern Tivenan from the Pershore club enters the ring in search of an Area title that she has trained really hard ahead of.
She will be joined on the extensive 16-fight card by Bill Smith, who will be fighting full contact.
In addition to Hooper and McMurdo, Evesham members Andy Bowen, Matthew Kurlingus and Wayne Clarke will all be hoping to uphold local pride when they step into the ring this weekend.
Doors open at 6.30pm with tickets priced £15 in advance. Ring 01386 48452 or 01386 561328 for more details and to reserve tickets.
