TWO teenage girls were left "extremely shaken" after they were subjected to a terrifying knifepoint abduction by a gang of at least 15 black youths.
The girls, aged 14 and 15, were at Barnt Green railway station on Tuesday, November 8, at about 5pm when they approached by the group.
They were taken by train to Alvechurch railway station, where they were ordered to make several phone calls to other teenagers.
According to police, three of the teenagers called upon were ordered to the Alvechurch area, where they were also abducted.
One 17-year-old boy was robbed at knifepoint by a female member of the gang.
The victims managed to escape at about 7.30pm.
Although no one was seriously hurt during the unusual incident, police are appealing for information from witnesses.
DC Mark Carter, of Bromsgrove police, said: "The victims have been left extremely shaken up following their frightening ordeal and I would appeal for anyone with any information about the incident to contact me.
"We have now pieced together what happened but I would urge anyone who saw anything at either Barnt Green station, on the train or in Alvechurch to contact me immediately on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
One youth has been arrested and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
