A GANG of at least six yobs savagely pelted stones at a car carrying an 18-month-old toddler.
Studley police are appealing for information following the nuisance prank which "could have potentially been a lot worse."
The car was travelling along High Street at about 5.45pm on Sunday, November 13, when a gang of at least six youths emerged from near the old Co-op site, armed with stones.
They threw them at the vehicle, which was being driven by a man, and smashed the offside window where the baby was seated.
Sector inspector Emma Walton said: "This incident concerns me a great deal as the injury could have been a lot worse."
She is keen to track down this group and is appealing for residents' help.
This latest incident is yet another example of how nuisance youths are blighting the life of residents in Studley.
Last week, youths broke into Ricor Limited in Needle House, Studley, and hijacked a couple of forklift trucks. There were also reports of a group of five teenagers causing a nuisance and smashing bottles in Lansdowne Road.
Anyone with information about the stone throwing incident can call Alcester police station on 01926 415000, quoting crime number S1/15925/05.
