WANNABE stars have been hoping they have enough X-Factor to impress the judges of a school talent contest.
Pupils at Arrow Vale High School have been in good voice in the preliminary Pop Icon heats.
The best performers will go through to the school final in January, followed by a grand final where they will compete against musical talent from across the county.
Head of music Andy Johnson said: "We have a great deal of talent at Arrow Vale and the school is a richer place for these talented and enthusiastic pupils."
