HOSPITAL Radio Pulse is holding a fundraising party billed as the "Official Start to Christmas" next month.
DJ Daz at the Alexandra Hospital-based station is inviting families down to Redditch United Football Club function room for the musical extravaganza on Sunday, December 4.
Kicking off at 1pm, revellers can enjoy performances from vocalist Ellen Sheehan and Dave from Redditch band Blacksheep, plus music from DJ Kev.
"This is something all the family can enjoy," said Daz, who broadcasts a popular Sunday show on Radio Pulse.
The event has been organised on the back of a successful fundraising drive earlier this year, when generous residents donated more than £5,000 to help the station buy a new mixing desk.
Along with pledges of cash, the station was also inundated with calls from talented local performers offering to take part in a money-spinning event.
This party will run until 5pm and ticket holders can not only enjoy the licensed bar at the Bromsgrove Road venue but try their luck in a give-away.
Prizes have been donated by a host of town businesses and include gifts from WHSmith, meals at Chicago Rock, Unicorn Hill, and porcelain figurines from Royal Doulton.
"These would make great Christmas presents," added Daz.
Tickets for the event are £5 for a family of four, including two adults and two children under 14.
Alternatively, adult tickets are £2 and £1 for children under 14.
