THE AGM was held on November 3. The committee was re-elected en bloc.
Stalwart secretary Dorothy agreed to continue with the demanding work of booking speakers for the winter meetings and organising outings for the summer.
Suggestions were made for future outings and, as coaches are so very expensive, it was decided to open our trips to other societies.
The evening continued with slides taken by Dorothy during her 12-day cruise in September on the Ocean Majesty, visiting Copenhagen, Tallinn, St Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm.
During the winter, the society meets on the first Thursday of the month at St Luke's Hall, Headless Cross, at 7.30 pm, and all are welcome.
The next meeting will be on December 1 when Richard Churchley will be speaking on Rural Industries of the Redditch Area.
