A ROBBIE Williams look-alike helped Thornton House Special School, Worcester, raise a record sum for charity.
Ollie Hughes gave a concert for free at the city's Huntingdon Hall, for BBC Children in Need, to the delight of youngsters, parents and staff.
A finale of Williams' anthem Angels had children singing and dancing in the aisles.
The event - to which children from Manor Park and Rose Hill special schools were also invited - was one of several activities to raise money for the fund-raiser.
Organiser Tamsin Bayliss - a Year Six teacher - said: "We have raised £732 so far, and hope that will reach £800 when we finish collecting it all in. It was phenomenally successful."
Ollie parted with his own signed copy of Robbie Williams' autobiography - which had been given to him by Williams' father - and a DVD of concerts, allowing them to be auctioned off to raise £80.
Staff helped raise additional cash, with a computer technician charging colleagues for every call-out, and a teacher who raised £150 by straightening her curly hair.
