WESTFIELDS face an FA Vase second round replay at home to Selby Town tonight (7.45) following Saturday's thrilling 3-3 draw.

After the Hereford side's mammoth trip to North Yorkshire on Friday, the match proved to be an exciting event as they fought back from 2-0 down after 20 minutes and survived extra-time.

Carl Morgan had a 12th-minute effort disallowed for offside before Northern East Counties League Premier Division side Selby went ahead.

Westfields failed to clear a right-wing corner and Adam Wash had an easy tap-in at the far post on 25 minutes.

Three minutes later, Selby increased their lead when another cross was not cleared and Jason Roughley headed in.

It could have been all over in the 30th minute when Stuart Lee hit a fierce shot on the turn but Jon Pugh produced a full-length save at the foot of the post.

Westfields pulled back a goal in the 38th minute when Daniel Moon got free on the right and his cross found Mark Davis who headed home at the far post.

After the break, Westfields got the vital equaliser when Morgan was brought down by home 'keeper Adam Mitchell and Mark Hibbard put Westfields level from the spot on 57 minutes.

However, Westfields joy was short-lived when Selby broke upfield to go in front again through Lee. The visitors won another penalty in an amazing five-minute spell for a foul on Morgan but Mitchell saved Hibbard's shot.

Pugh then pulled off a superb flying stop from Ian Twitcham before Westfields pulled level in the 75th minute with a superb goal, nodded in by Davis from Morgan's pin-point cross.

Pugh produced a double save in extra-time as they earned tonight's replay and a home tie with Buxton or Alvechurch awaits the winners.

Ledbury Town's Vase tie with Willand Rovers was postponed and they will try again at New Street tomorrow night for the right to visit Newmarket.

Meanwhile, young Pegasus Juniors now have an impressive 17 points from eight home Hellenic League Premier games after a 3-2 victory over Wantage Town.

They showed plenty of character to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat with goals by debutant Matt Aubrey, signed from Westfields, and Daniel Sobocinski in the final three minutes.

Aubrey scored from a short corner, while Sobocinski latched onto a Leigh Harris pass before striking the ball from the edge of penalty area.

Ben Price hit the bar for Pegasus early on, while Aubrey and Chris Mortlock were both denied by fine saves.

The visitors took the lead three minutes into the second-half through Adam Giles and Paul Day added the second on 66 minutes with a penalty.

But Mark Smith drove home his first goal for the club before two goals extended Pegasus' record to seven unbeaten home league games.

Bromyard Town's West Midlands League Premier Division problems continued when they lost 3-0 at Tividale.

Without a recognised goalkeeper, Alex Taffe stepped into the breach and Town later lost Andy Cartwright to injury.

Ryan Broadhurst missed an early chance with a weak header before a Matt Gray error gifted Tividale the opener.

Taffe was then beaten by a cross-shot and Tividale added a third in the second-half from long range.
