A MAN and a woman were taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning after the car in which they were travelling left the road at Upton Snodsbury, near Pershore.
The vehicle hit a telegraph pole, flipped over and eventually came to rest in a front garden.
When police, paramedics and the fire brigade arrived at the scene on the A442 between Woodview Garage and The French Pub, the 23-year-old male driver had escaped from the wreckage of the L-reg BMW, shaken and suffering from head injuries.
However, his 19-year-old passenger was trapped and had to be cut free. She suffered pelvic and head injuries.
Both people were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by ambulance.
