A LUCKY winner will enjoy a Christmas feast worth £100, thanks to Upton in Bloom's latest competition.
The group is raffling a hamper containing 'everything you need for Christmas, including the turkey', to raise funds for its entry into Heart of England in Bloom in 2006. Tickets cost £1 and are available now from various local shops.
Santa will draw the winning ticket at noon at the town's Christmas event on Saturday, December 17.
Upton in Bloom is also creating a Memorial Tree in the Old Churchyard.
A silver birch will be strung with lights and people will be encouraged to buy a light for £5, in memory of a loved one or a good cause.
