AROUND 60 jobs could be created at Malvern's Enigma Business Park with the addition of nine small business units.
Jeremy Knight Adams has applied to Malvern Hills District Council for permission to build the units on Betony Road.
Agent SR Davis Architects has drawn up plans for the buildings, which range in size from 1,200 to 2,430 square feet. Each could be used to provide a combined office and workspace.
Architect Darren Smallman said his client had chosen the Enigma Business Park because it was an up and coming site where there was demand for light industrial units.
Although the application is speculative and no prospective businesses have been found for the units, Mr Smallman said the development could create approximately 60 jobs.
It is hoped the plans will be approved by February and the units completed by the end of 2006.
Tony Lyons, Enigma Business Park co-ordinator, said: "Anything that brings more industrial units to the park has got to be good for the town.
"I'm pleased the park is being used to create jobs which will help bring wealth to the town."
