A group dedicated to caring for ferrets has joined forces with three charities to launch its own lottery.
Droitwich Ferret Welfare has teamed up with Acorns Children's Hospice for the TLC Lottery.
By donating £1 per week, players will have the opportunity to win one of 164 cash prizes, up to £1,000 and nominate which charity their money should support.
Charity secretary, Anne Robinson (pictured) said: "We aim to sign up 50 players as soon as possible to try to meet the cost of caring for stray and unwanted ferrets."
Other charities supported by the lottery will be Birmingham's St Mary's Hospice and Focus on Blindness.
An entry form can be downloaded from www.droitwichferretwelfare.co.uk or call 0121 2484500.
