Stourport Mens' firsts will need an improved performance at high-flying Bournville on Saturday - despite overcoming Doncaster last weekend.

By their own admission, Phil Lashford's side were completely passive during their first half display in their 2-1 home victory over Doncaster.

And with Bournville setting the pace in second in National North Division, Stourport must be at their best for the 12.30pm trip to Birmingham University.

They trailed 1-0 to Doncaster at the break but 51st and 55th minute strikes from Imran and Irfan Yousaf sealed their second half comeback.

Skipper Lashford said: "We just didn't turn up in the first half and we had a bit of a roasting from our coach Steve Floyd at the break which lifted us and did the trick."

l Stourport seconds had an off-day of their own when they were thumped 7-1 by Beeston. Their consolation goal came from the stick of Dave Westhead from a corner.

l Stourport thirds were left heartbroken after taking the lead against league-leaders Cannock before losing to a last-gasp goal. Mark McKinnon gave them a first half lead and might have had a hat-trick had he not been playing with an injury.

But Cannock replied with an equaliser midway through the second half and nicked it with the last hit of the game. The thirds host Nottingham at 11.30am on Saturday.

l Stourport fourths are still going strong at the top of the league after their 4-1 win at Cannock continued their unbeaten start.

Rob Bratt led the way with a brace with Max Totney and Dan Hurley also on target. They host Bridgnorth at 1pm on Saturday.

l The fifths suffered their first defeat of the season when they lost 3-1 to Harborne. James Morgan scored in the first half and it was all square with two minutes to go before Harborne hit two late goals. They travel to Worcester on Saturday.

l Stourport sixths increased their lead at the top of the table with a superb 3-1 win at nearest rivals Harborne. Rob Claris opened the scoring with a Neil Thomas double and some solid defending sealing the victory. They host Edgbaston sixths at 2.30pm on Saturday.

l There was a 1-0 defeat for Stourport sevenths who conceded a scrappy goal then missed a host of chances at home to Stratford.

Kidderminster Men's firsts continued their recent run of good form with a 2-1 win over Droitwich thanks to goals for Matt Edwards and Chris Bartle.

Droitwich did all the early work but good play by Martin Roberts in the Kidderminster goal and a goal-line save by captain Chris Pocknell kept them out.

An inspired 15-minute spell from Kidderminster virtually won the match, with Edwards deflecting Andy Pocknell's free-hit past the static Droitwich keeper.

A Pocknell also played a part in the second, winning a tackle in midfield and laying the ball off to Bartle, who evaded the last defender before coolly slotting the ball in seconds before half-time.

Droitwich grabbed a consolation goal after the break but saw two players limp off and were unable to carve Kidderminster open again.

Kidderminster face a stiff test against Finchfield at King Charles I High School at 1.30pm on Saturday.

l Kidderminster thirds will be hoping to bounce back from their 2-0 friendly defeat to Kings Heath when they return to league action at Pershore on Saturday.

l Chaddesley Corbett ended their five-match losing streak with a 4-2 victory at Aston University in West Midlands Division Two.

Tom Boden bagged a brace with Matt Boden and Sam Boden also on target.

They entertain Ludlow at 11am on Saturday.
