TIM Jones completed a hat-trick of wins at Woodston Manor on Saturday, to secure the Aggregate Trophy. With just one match remaining, Jones cannot be caught by his nearest challenger, Martin Tayloe.
Following a 45lb catch at the Eardiston fishery, he took chub and roach on the canal between bridges eight and nine. Fishing with worm hook bait, and feeding chopped worm and caster, Jones took his third match at Woodston with 54lb 12oz, which included carp to 8lb.
The first win at Woodston helped clinch the Doubles Knockout Final with partner Chris Hale, as their combined weight of 45lb 10oz proving too much for Tayloe and Keith Clarke, who weighed in with 35-15.
