FAMILIES will enjoy an evening of laughter, suspense and storytelling next week.
The Looking Glass Theatre Company will present The Headless Horseman at Clows Top Victory Hall on Friday and at Cookley First School on Saturday.
Performers will re-enact the spine-shivering tale, in which a village squire and his family have a curse placed on them.
Audiences will discover whether the horseman will let the family keep their dark secrets hidden, why a strange women keeps appearing in strange guises and who is the man with the ever-changing limp.
They will also be able to help chant to awaken the horseman, to set him at peace from his never-ending ride.
The events have been organised as part of the Shindig rural and community touring scheme.
Both performances will start at 7.30pm. For further information and tickets, contact Clows Top Victory Hall on 01299 832637 and Cookley First School on 01562 850397.
