THE sounds of music and singing will fill Worcestershire County Museum this weekend.
There will be a "hands on instruments" workshop on both Saturday and Sunday with Andy Casserley and participants will get the chance to examine and play a variety of instruments.
Younger visitors to the museum, based at Hartlebury Castle, will also have the chance to make their own instruments with its in-house activity leaders.
At 2pm on Saturday, there will be a singing workshop in the castle's Great Hall. Cathy Dew, the project manager of Singworks, and the Hills Singers will run a workshop of themed music and visitors will be encouraged to take part.
The Red Dragon Jazz Band will be welcoming visitors on Sunday and from 2pm Worcester Folk Players will perform in the orchard garden marquee, where there will also be the chance for visitors to try their hand at country dancing.
Normal admission charges apply and the museum will be open from 11am until 5pm.
