A hat-trick from Harry Jones helped Studley Juniors u13s A to a 7-1 victory over Lapal Colts in the League Shield. Ben Briggs (two), Liam Kettle and Jamie Keyte were also on target with Briggs picking up the Man of the Match award.
Redditch United Boys u11s lost 6-0 at home to Rubery Juniors, four of the goals coming before the break.
But there was better news from Redditch United Girls Belles u11s who ran out 3-1 winners against Alvechurch Lions u12s for their first win if the season.
Goals from Georgie Savage and two from Hannah Northall capped a good team performance and brought the Lions' 100 per cent to an end.
Keeper Eden Gibbs-Harris pulling off a brilliant save that helped secure her the Player of the Match award.
Redditch United Girls u12s lost 3-2 to Aston Villa despite goals from sisters Kerry and Sarah Badger. Laura Donohoe was named Player of the Match.
Two goals from Lauren Jack helped Redditch United Girls u13s to a 4-2 victory over Alvechurch Lions u14s. Kellie Smith and Katherine Christopher also scored while stand-in keeper Christy Thomas produced a great penalty double save.
Player of the Match was Leanne Savage.
There was further success for Redditch United Girls u14s who won 1-0 at Coventry City 'B' despite being able to field just nine players.
The visitors made a dream start to the second half when some great passing and off the ball support resulted in a superb goal from Jess Lingham.
Daisy Beck, in terrific form in the first half was replaced in goal and she brought fresh legs and a renewed vigour to the outfield play.
Replacement keeper Danni Campbell did her team proud with some superb point blank saves.
Player of the Match was Rachel Savage.
