BROMSGROVE kept the pressure up on the leaders in the Coaching Solutions West Midlands Division One with a comfortable victory over Old Sils on Saturday.
Victory makes sure that Bromsgrove cemented fourth place in the division and kept the heat on the three sides above.
Captain Julian Court was pleased with the professional attitude his players had to the game.
He said: "We never looked in trouble and scored when we needed to.
"We dominated throughout and I was very pleased to see us control the match.
"Sils didn't really have a sniff on goal all game and it's always good to have a clean sheet. Paul Yate put his side ahead in the first half.
Teenager Alan Henderson doubled Bromsgrove's advantage after the break. The pacey youth from Bromsgrove School then had a hand in his side's third goal, which top scorer Pete Hall coolly finished.
Court said: "Alan was excellent. He's quick and enthusiastic and gave the opposition trouble all game. With him it looks like we have got strength in depth in the side, which bodes well for the future."
Bromsgrove will be aiming to give their promotion hopes a major boost when they to go second placed Wulfrunians on Saturday.
Three points separate Bromsgrove from unbeaten Wulfrunians.
Court said: "It's going to be a very hard game. Wulfrunians haven't lost yet and their confidence will be sky high.
"We are playing well though and know we can give them a real game."
The captain is expecting to keep an unchanged side for Saturday's top of the table clash.
