MATTHEW Sowden bagged a hat trick as Droitwich under-8s edged Stourbridge 35-30 over the weekend.

Angus Thomas, Stephen Bayliss and Peter Bedborough also touched down.

In the second match Spa ran out 25-20 winners, with Richard Middleton (2), Luke Wall, Joshua Bowie and Jamie Wall scoring tries.

Jack Pomroy scored his side's first try in Droitwich under-15s' 21-19 win over Nuneaton.

Harry Baille and man on the match Luke Harris also scored tries. Sam Jones scored Droitwich under-14s' only try in the 24-7 loss to Stourbridge.

Bromsgrove under-8s whitewashed Walsall over four games.

In the first match Jonathan Howcroft (2), James Taylor (2) and Adam Goldney scored in the 25-0 win.

In game two Bromsgrove won 35-30, with James Taylor (3), Harry Lloyd-Jones (2), George Dunn and Goldney scoring.

Tom Morris (2) and AJ Lewis scored in a 15-5 victory over Walsall.

Morris then bagged four in the final match as the Boars ran out 25-15 winners.

Bromsgrove under-11s lost to Walsall 20-5, with Guy Bamford bagging a try.

Bromsgrove under-7s played Walsall three times. They lost the first match 10-10, with Charlie Marshall and Ben Evans scoring.

In game two the Boars lost 20-10, despite Sam Lee and Thomas Field touching down.

Marshall bagged four tries and James Smalley three as Bromsgrove won the final game 35-20. Chaddesley Corbett under-16s edged Bromsgrove 17-12, with Richard Fry and Matt Wilson scoring.

Ross Westwood scored three tries as Chaddesley Corbett U10s beat Bromyard 50-0. Zach Walker, Louis Ellesmore, Alex Lloyd, Oliver Douglas, Sam Needham and Sam Smith also scored.

In their second game Corbett won 20-0, with Jack Sanders, Rob Lewellyn, Smith and Needham scoring.

Chaddesley Corbett under-14s lost to Bromsgrove 24-14 and Chaddesley Corbett under-7s beat Bomyard 40-15 and 20-0.
