I HAVE every sympathy with the writers of last week's letters regarding the noise created by fireworks. But spare a thought for us poor residents in Stourbridge Road (approaching Parkside school).
Since the road re-surfacing in August, loose manhole covers, directly in line with traffic, have made it Bonfire Night every 24 hours. Despite numerous complaints, Bromsgrove District Council only continue to pass the buck, even though they admit causing the damage.
Next time you are walking into town, have a listen to our 'free show'. Perhaps we are not paying enough Council Tax to carry out this simple repair.
