Evesham U-10 0, Stratford 5
SUNDAY'S hosts had one of the best turnouts of the year with 15 players, although only nine can play at a time, but it enabled the use of rolling substitutes so that everyone had a game.
Stratford boasted a far bigger pack but Evesham's front row of Adam Johnson, Aaron Parks and Alex Tarplee held the push well until the home back line was breached after some good passing and the visitors scored in the corner.
This set the pattern for rest of the match with Evesham running well and passing the ball between Alex Stoddart, Joe Beirns, Jack Witts and Thomas Heneghan.
There were big tackles from Matt Camp and James Will-iamson, while Michael Harries had an absolutely brilliant game to take the player of the match award.
