TOWN youngsters celebrated Black History Month with a special puppet show.
Blue Sky Theatre staged two performances for 320 pupils from first and primary schools in the district at the Spadesbourne Suite, in Burcot Lane.
The puppet show, Polly Put The Kettle On, featured African and Afro-Caribbean percussion and music.
During another event former Birmingham poet laureate Roi Kwabena was guest of honour at Bromsgrove District Housing Trust's Black History Month celebrations. Catering company Divine Cuisine cooked up a treat in the kitchen with some Caribbean style dishes and BDHT staff also tried some Asian sweets.
As part of the event staff also produced boards celebrating famous black and Asian people in history which were displayed in the trust's reception at Buntsford Court.
