I WAS born in Redditch in 1943 and am now a pensioner. I also raised my family here.
I have just applied to go on the housing list for a bungalow. I have health problems.
My points card was confusing. It read 310 and I thought that could not be right.
I rang: "No, it cannot be 310, sorry."
Bad mistake but worse, I'm then told I have been awarded no points at all.
How is it then a person comes to this town from Zimbabwe and gets housed in just three months.
It beggars belief as there are people who have been on the waiting list for years.
She was doing a job of her choice. We read and sympathised with her problem. We all have problems and I for one could write a book.
I left town for six years but I was born here, like my family before, but I get zero points.
Tell me the system isn't crackers!
