THE festive season will kick off with a bang in Alcester this weekend.
St Nicholas Church is holding its annual Christmas Bazaar in the Town Hall on Friday night from 7-9pm and Saturday morning from 10am until noon.
Co-ordinator Gwyneth Osborne said everyone was invited to come and make merry with music, mulled wine and mince pies on Friday night.
And she said on Saturday morning there will be coffee and mince pies, and all the usual bazaar events including a tombola, plants, cakes and preserves on sale, and a raffle.
"There will also be someone doing shiatsu massage as well as a person doing portraits," she said.
"Everyone is welcome to come - it's all to raise money for the church, it's our annual big bash."
Admission for Friday night is £2.50 and for Saturday morning is £1.
