SIR - Another residents' action group concerned about changes to the character of their neighbourhood has emerged in Sunnyside Road, Worcester.
It is sad to see the nature of our city being changed by large developers who are buying up properties of both aesthetic and social interest and demolishing them to put up flats.
The traditional feel of Worcester as a historic county town is going to be lost if this continues.
What about families? Houses with areas to play, hang washing out and have a garden provide a cornerstone for developing care and love within the home. This is not available in flats. Let's have some proper homes for families to bring up their children.
COUN RICHARD BIRD,
Worcester.
