A TEAM of charity
fund-raisers has appealed for a helping hand to take a Guinness keg to Dublin - and then bring it all the way back again.
The group will set off on their adventure from
the O'Neill's bar in Trinity Street, Worcester, to try and raise money for the children's charity Barnardo's.
They have been promised a Seacat trip to get them across the Irish Sea from Holyhead to Dublin, but need kind-hearted residents to help them on the first leg of the journey - such as a lorry driver or bus company.
Chris Vale, aged 29, has joined forces with friends Keith Jackson, Rob Sargent and Russell Knight, all aged 26, of Worcester, for the challenge, on Friday November 18.
They are not allowed to use their own cars for the race to the city where Guinness is brewed.
Staff and regulars from O'Neill's pubs acoss the country will be taking part in the competition, the winning team of which will receive a keg of Guinness.
Anyone who is able to help he team with transport or sponsorship is asked to contact Mr Vale on 07765 000666.
