PEOPLE are being offered another chance to give their views on the future of public transport in Worcestershire tomorrow.
The Local Transport Plan 2006 to 2011 sets out the county's transport strategy for the next five years, focusing on reducing congestion, making roads safer, improving air quality and enhancing access to services.
It is in the process of being completed and the team behind it is keen to hear from the public.
The full plan can be seen on-line at www.worcestershire .gov.uk/ltp and, although feedback has already been given via the internet and a series of workshops, another open day is being held next week. The open day is being held at Worcester Rugby Club on at 9.30am, but residents are being encouraged to continue to have their say on-line.
John Seddon, policy and strategy manager at Worcestershire County Council, said: "Thank you to everyone who has so far partici-pated in the workshops and responded to the on-line questionnaire - the comments and suggestions are invaluable.
"We have extended the consultation period to allow more people to have their say and I hope that more people will continue to go on-line and look at what we have planned and feed back on it."
