A WYRE Forest Rotary Club has appealed for donations to help provide vital supplies for families in emergency zones all over the world.
Stourport Rotarians, who have been involved in the emergency box scheme for two years, are hoping to add to the 11 boxes already sent.
The group wants to raise funds to fill Aquaboxes that contain enough filtering equipment to provide a family of four with clean drinking water for about four months.
Individuals or organisations can also help by donating items including soap, toothbrushes, cooking implements and shelter equipment.
The essential survival items are placed inside the specially designed boxes, which cost about £250, before being transported.
Rotarian Brian Young, who is chairman of the group's international sub-committee, said the boxes make a "real difference."
