PETE Banham, Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club junior, rode to victory in round six of the West Midlands Cyclo Cross League, at Misterton Hall, Lutterworth.
Banham pulled away from the rest of the field to finish fastest junior, and second overall in the vets/women/juniors race.
He also achieved a win in round four at Sanders Park, Bromsgrove, and currently lies sixth in the league table, having only ridden in four of the seven events so far.
He is lying seventh overall in the National Trophy series, managing seventh place in the junior round three race at Southampton, following an eighth place in round two at Chorley.
In the seniors race in West Midlands League round six, Dan Harding came fifth overall, and Elliott Dinsdale was 17th, with Matt Ashcroft crossing the line 23rd.
Harding took part in the National Trophy round two, finishing 22nd, round three where he finished 23rd, and he is 50th overall in the national rankings.
Joe Rowe came sixth overall in the round two veterans' event and seventh in round three, so currently lies 22nd in the rankings.
Phil Blacker came second overall in the West Midlands League seniors race in round seven at Pitcher Oak Woods, Redditch, where Dinsdale came seventh and Ashcroft finished 16th.
New club youth rider, Alex Tinsley finished sixth overall, and Ruth Blacker was sixth overall in the women's event.
