A MAN who ordered toys and other items from a novelty company paid for them with cheques which bounced, Worcester Crown Court heard.

Craig Shell, 18, of Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, was given an 18-month community rehabilitation order after pleading guilty to two charges of theft.

The orders for 200 vending machine capsules worth £78 and toys and novelties worth £2,428 were placed with the Novelty Capsule Company but Shell's cheques were worthless, said Mr Antonie Muller, prosecuting.
