I WOULD like to respond to B Nock's comments on last week's Letters Page regarding the continental market in Kidderminster.
I have, for many years, visited markets in France and the prices are usually a little cheaper than when the markets are here.
Your correspondent misses the point. It is good to see these types of events in Kidderminster, not only to bring more people in to the town but to be able to see their varied stalls, things that we do not normally have the opportunity to see or buy.
The trader who was selling hand-made macaroons, which smelt and tasted wonderful, had a very busy day.
Mr Nock has the choice to buy from these markets or buy cheaper, bland goods from supermarkets - but please don't stop others from enjoying these all too infrequent markets coming here.
