CHARLOTTE Silvester's consolation goal was all Ferndale under-10s had to show for their battling display during an 8-1 home defeat to Headless Cross in the League Cup.
Mel Lawley grabbed a double and Racheal Scotford and Francesca Short were on target in the under-12s comfortable 4-1 victory at Warndon Village Wildcats.
There were five goals for Nicole Mathews as the under-14s youth enjoyed a convincing 11-0 League Cup victory over Bromsgrove Town to march through to the semi-finals.
Chelsea Callaghan and Charlie Ireland both bagged braces with further goals from Sophie Bradshaw and Rebecca Jones.
The under-14s Flyers hope to join Youth in the last four when they visit Alvechurch in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
The next Mercian Festival Junior Football League is on Sunday at the Bell Inn, St Johns, Worcester, at 8pm.
