AT the ninth annual and 10th birthday meeting, county fund-raiser Julian Roberts said the Lickhill group was an example of how meetings should be conducted.
She explained the "members communication system" to be set up by NFWI and named Joyce Betteridge as Lickhill's representative.
Kath Oakley retired from the post of president, having held three years in this position, plus six as secretary.
Cherry Greaves was appointed president. She gave a talk on hats, showing some of her creations.
Dates for the diary: a bridge drive at Blakedown on November 28, beginning at noon; carol concert "Journey through Christmas" at Kidderminster Town Hall on December 2, starting at 7.30pm; Christmas shopping in Chester on December 6; and a carol concert at Astley village hall on December 11.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday in the Memorial Park community centre, Stourport, at 10am, when Graham J Wren will give a talk on "Best of Britain".
