YOUNG members of a city amateur dramatic society raised the roof as well as raising £800 for repairs to their rehearsal rooms.
Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section, led by their musical director Jane Whittle, held a singathon at St Mary's Hall, Northfield Street, where the society is based. The money will help fund repairs to the hall's leaky roof.
Youngsters aged from eight to 18 took part, singing songs from Les Miserables to Disney, Robbie Williams to Rodgers and Hammerstein.
The chairman of WODYS, David Humphries, said: "I am very pleased with the response from both the singers and friends and relatives who came to watch. The atmosphere was great and it is wonderful that we raised that amount of money.
"It is nice to see the youngsters contributing to the upkeep of the hall."
