ALVECHURCH have been handed an attractive home draw against Championship giants Wolves in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
The match will be staged at Lye Meadow on Wednesday, November 23, and officials will be hoping for a bumper turnout.
And the draw for the Worcestershire Senior Urn quarter-finals has handed
Shaun Cunnington's side another home draw, against Worcester City Reserves, in a tie which has to be staged by December 7.
But the Church boss will not want to be distracted from the league where his side recorded a useful 2-2 draw at Tipton on Saturday.
Hotshot Keith Rostill kick-started the comeback after the visitors had trailed by two goals as Church earned the draw which keeps them four points outside the relegation zone.
Cunnington's men were set to host Loughborough Dynamo last night (Tuesday) and have a crucial relegation battle at Biddulph Victoria on Saturday (ko 3pm).
A Church victory at the weekend would leave the third-from-bottom Vics seven points behind the visitors with only two games in hand but anything else would deepen Alvechurch's relegation worries.
