ST Luke's Memorial Hall is set to welcome a pair of internationally renowned Appalachian music and dance professionals all the way from the USA.
Ira Bernstein and Riley Gaugus (pictured above), between them boast more than 50 years of music and dance experience.
They present Appala-chian Roots, a feast of fiddles and flatfoot dancing with banjos and ballads at the Evesham Road hall in Headless Cross on Saturday.
Ira, a world famous flatfoot dancer and musician and Riley, who contributed to the soundtrack of the blockbuster Cold Mountain, are putting on the show as part of Shindig, a tour of rural venues across Worcester-shire.
Appalachian Roots is a mix of traditional dance, song and instrumental music from the Southern Appalachian region of the United States, with a few international twists thrown in.
The show will include percussive flatfooting and buckdancing, rhythm tap dancing, French-Canadian step dancing, English clogging and South African boot dancing.
There will also be fiddle tunes and fiddle sticks by Ira, southern Appalachian songs and ballads, old-time banjo and fiddle tunes, mountain preaching by Riley, a good dose of fiddle and banjo and double fiddle duets.
The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £6, are available by calling 545521.
