Oldbury Park Tigers 3,
Evesham Utd U-12 B 0
UNITED were forced on to the back foot but solid defending from Sam Penfold, Josh Woods, James Brown and player of the match James Hitchman kept the Tigers at bay.
However, a mistimed challenge brought Oldbury a penalty but Tom Bennett produced a fine stop.
The goalkeeper, though, was helpless to prevent the hosts netting twice before half-time and Evesham's best chance saw Angus Steele narrowly fail to convert a cracking cross from Dan Wilcox.
Evesham were again unable to find the net after the break but defended stoutly and the Tigers could only manage one more goal to wrap up a closely-fought contest.
