CAPTAIN Chris Wright handed out the men's pri-zes at Broadway following the ladies presentations by their captain Rita Smith.
The John Freeman Trophy for the four best medal rounds for players under 15 handicap went to Ashley Powell, while the Jim Fraser Trophy for the higher handicappers went to Paul CaRruthers.
The Founders Trophy which starts out as a men's qualifier leaving the top eight to play a knockout was claimed by club champion Shaun Thornhill.
The Gorin Cup, another knockout trophy for higher handicappers, was won by Barry Deeming who edged ahead of James Burke.
The George Knight Four-somes Trophy in this category was won by Gorin Cup winner Barry Deeming and playing partner Ian Chambers with Bob Lord and Dave Sadler in second place.
Lower
The Premier Pairs Trophy for the lower handicappers - the Alexander Foursomes -was won by the father and son pairing of Mick and Terry Sandalls with the club's vice-captain John Skinner and Martin Brotherton runners-up.
The Lloyd Cup, a much coveted singles trophy for the lower handicappers, was won by John Bidwell in what was a most evenly matched final against Gloucestershire Sen-iors captain Les Carter.
Two special awards were nominated and presented by the captain with the Captains Putter, a unique silver club originally donated by Terry Waldren, presented to Gra-ham Smith for his many hours of service.
The final presentation was one of the most popular for many years. The Reynolds Cup is awarded not only for services to the club but on this occasion especially for golfing achievements throughout the year, and the worthy recipient was reigning county ladies champion Lynda Carr-uthers.
More than 70 enthusiastic members turned out for Sun-day's shotgun start to this year's Winter League but persistent rain and strong winds saw flooded winter greens cause an early abandonment.
