THIS month's subject is the world famous Ffestiniog Railway in Wales.
This narrow gauge line has a lot of history attached to it.
Our speaker, Robert Smallman, will be giving the slide presentation, the Ffestiniog Railway before it got its second F, so we will be going back into the archives to see the railway in its very early years.
Our speaker has been a member of the railway for many years and has researched his subject over a time.
This will be Robert's first visit to our club, covering a subject that should make a very interesting evening for all, history at its finest.
The meeting will be held today (Wednesday) at St Godwald's Church Hall, Aston Fields. The doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.45pm start. Refreshments and a book stall will also be available on the evening. For further details please contact Dave on 01527 8783800 or Gordon on 01527 873609. All are very welcome to join us.
