THE October meeting was preceded by a harvest lunch, which was enjoyed by all.
The meeting started at 2pm when Ms J Ashman was introduced to give a presentation on the work carried out by the County Air Ambulance. There was a short film and description of the activities carried out in ensuring early transfer of people to hospital, followed by time for members' questions and a break for tea. Items were available for sale, the proceeds of which would go to the air ambulance fund.
