A DEDICATED deputy head has scooped a top gong for his work with Duke of Edinburgh award pupils.
Paul Copeland, from South Bromsgrove High School, has been awarded the Paul Harris Fellow by the Bromsgrove Rotary Club.
The school is the largest awarding centre in the world.
Headteacher Phil McTague said: "Paul has been heading up the awards scheme for about 15 years and it has had a tremendous impact on the community.
"The award was in recognition for all this work and it was very richly deserved."
The Paul Fellow awards, named after the founder of the Rotary International Foundation, are given by clubs to people who make outstanding contributions to their local community.
