WE had a very successful Osteoporosis Day last month when 38 members were screened.
We had walks organised by Jill Woolley and five members attended the autumn council meeting at Stourport which was thoroughly enjoyed.
Wine and cake were consumed on the 90th anniversary of the WI movement in Great Britain and a super speaker Olive Dews spoke on "A Day in a doctor's surgery" - very enlightening indeed! The vote of thanks was given by Mary Glaze.
Denise Cashmore, president, reminded everyone of the Carol Service in Kidderminster and our own group carol service at St Laurence's Church, Alvechurch, on December 13.
Pam Horsfield and her "staff" continue to keep the village green looking beautiful.
Members were reminded of the Christmas party on December 12 - a night of food, drink and fun.
Visitors are always made to feel welcome.
Call Denise Cashmore on 0121 445 3246 for more details.
