THE group had its 542nd meeting in October.
Correspondence for the group included an invitation to Stoke Prior WI's autumn group meeting which six members will be attending.
At the president and secretaries' meeting in Feckenham, future events were highlighted including trips to Lenchton, Redditch and Saltway and a theatre trip to see My Fair Lady in Malvern in March 2006.
There will also be bowls and croquet at Hanbury Hall, a skittle evening and a fish and chip supper.
This year's team, County Skittles, will be playing Bentley, Blackwell and Burcot. Val Andrews gave a report on the "Steeping Out" national 90-mile challenge where members Wendy and Jean Hart, Wyn Gough and Val Andrews achieved a total of 560 miles.
A scrapbook of their experience is being prepared which will be sent to our county office. Seven members have agreed to answer a questionnaire on the Lifetime Physical Activity and Falls History Study 2005.
Our speaker was Vince Williams who, as a member of the voluntary Mountain Rescue team, gave a very entertaining and informative talk.
The team helps police in missing person rescues which many people are unaware of.
