RESIDENTS are being reminded it is not too late to reserve a stand at Alcester's second St Nicholas Night evening parade and street market set for Tuesday, December 6.
The first event held last year drew 3,000 people to the town centre and included street stalls, music from Alcester's schools, Boy Bishop Parade, street entertainers, children's rides, a pig roast, firework displays and late opening from High Street shops.
This year's event, due to start at 5.30pm, will also include the Farmers' Market around the Town Hall and a finale of live local music. Profits from the evening will be used to benefit the young people of Alcester.
To run a stall, call committee chairman Mike Clark on 01789 765192.
