Upton's Tourist Information Centre has raised £490 to buy a Rotary shelterbox.
The Boxing Day tsunami inspired staff to run a series of fundraising events, including raffles and a car boot sale.
The shelterbox is designed to sustain life for ten people in an emergency, containing essentials from a tent to cooking equipment.
The money was being handed to Worcester South Rotary Club today (Friday).
