People from towns and villages around the Malvern Hills will be remembering those who died for their country next week.
The Royal British Legion and local churches are organising services for residents to pay their respects to servicemen and women who fell in conflicts around the world.
Bromyard
The Armistice Day service of hymns, prayers and the traditional two minutes' silence takes place outside Bromyard Public Hall at 11am on Friday, November 11. A church service will be held at St Peter's at 3pm on Sunday, November 13. This will be attended by members of the Bromyard branch of the Royal British Legion, Cadet Forces, Guides, the fire service and other organisations.
Barnards Green
The Barnards Green branch of the Royal British Legion will commemorate Remembrance Day with a service at Christ Church, Avenue Road, at 10.50am on Sunday, November 13. Following the service, members will gather at Barnards Green War Memorial, where a trumpeter will sound Last Post.
Colwall
There will be Remembrance Day services at 10.45am on Sunday, November 13, at both St James' Church in Colwall and All Saints', Coddington.
Cradley
The Cradley, Storridge and Mathon branch of the Royal British Legion and the Royal Engineers' Association will parade in Church Lane at 10.40am on Sunday, November 13. A service will be held at Cradley Church, followed by the laying of wreaths at the McLean Memorial.
Great Malvern
An Act of Remembrance and two minutes' silence takes place on Belle Vue Terrace at 11am on Friday, November 11.
On Sunday, November 13, West Worcestershire MP Sir Michael Spicer will join members of the Malvern branch of the Royal British Legion and representatives from the town council, the emergency services, St John Ambulance, the Red Cross, Cadet Forces, Scouts and Guides for the laying of wreaths at the Graham Road war memorial at 2.30pm. Upton Youth Band will accompany the parade to Malvern Priory for the Service of Remembrance at 3pm.
Ledbury
The Ledbury branch of the Royal British Legion is asking people to gather at the war memorial in High Street on Friday, November 11, for a short service at to observe two minutes' silence. The 11am start and the finish will be signalled by the firing of a maroon.
St Katherine's car park will be a mustering point on Remembrance Sunday, November 13, at 10.30am.
There will be a short parade from the car park to the war memorial.
Marchers will include RBL standard bearers plus representatives from Herefordshire Council and the town council, and youth groups, including children from the John Masefield High School, Scouts and Guides.
There will be two minutes' silence at the memorial and, after wreath laying, the group will process to Ledbury Parish Church, for a service at 11.30am.
Little Marcle
Royal British Legion members will attend a service at Ashperton Church at 10.45am on Sunday, November 13.
Much Marcle
The Royal British Legion will parade its Standard for the Service of Remembrance at St Bartholomew's Church at 10.45am on Sunday, November 13.
Newent
There will be a service at 10am in St Mary's Church on Remembrance Sunday, followed by wreath laying and two minutes' silence at the war memorial in the churchyard at 11am.
West Malvern
Members of the Leigh and West Malvern branch of the Royal British Legion will attend the annual Service of Remembrance and laying of wreaths at St James' Church at 10.30am on Sunday, November 13. Refreshments will be served afterwards at the Royal British Legion Club in Lower Road.
Powick and Callow End
Veterans have organised a dedication and laying of wreaths at Callow End War Memorial at 11am on Friday, November 11, and hope that village schoolchildren will be able to participate in the brief ceremony. Powick and Callow End branch of the Royal British Legion will hold two separate services on Sunday, November 13. Those wishing to attend the morning service should meet at the Red Lion car park at 10.30am, for a parade to St Peter's Church, Powick. An afternoon service will be held at St James' Church Callow End. Participants will assemble at the Village Hall at 2.10pm and march off at 2.20pm for the service at 2.30pm.
Upton-Upon-Severn
There will be two minutes' silence outside the Memorial Hall at 11am on Friday, November 11, followed by laying of wreaths. On Sunday, November 13, at 10am, a parade will assemble in New Street and march to the parish church for a service at 10.45am. The parade will then re-form and march to the old churchyard (Pepperpot) for the Act of Remembrance and the laying of wreaths. Royal British Legion members will be accompanied by representatives from Upton Town Council, police, fire service, Severn Area Rescue Association, Cadet Forces, Upton Rowing Club, Upton Rugby Club, Upton Angling Club, Scouts, Guides, Beavers, Brownies, Cubs, Upton Primary School and Upton Youth Band.
Welland, Hanley Castle, Hanley Swan
The Hanley Castle Branch of the Royal British Legion will hold a service at St James' Church at 11am, followed by the laying of a commemorative wreath at Welland's new war memorial. Bugler and association standards will be in attendance for the sounding of the Last Post. Branch members will also lay poppy wreaths at Hanley Castle and Hanley Swan.
