WITH only 10 players, Malvern Ladies travelled to Solihull on Saturday to play Camp Hill Ladies.
CAMP HILL LADIES 0, MALVERN LADIES 2
The game started well and Malvern took and held possession. With efficient play up the right wing between Hillary Forecast and Louise, Malvern earned plenty of shots on goal.
The first goal came following a pass from the left corner to the top of the circle, captain Lucy Smith burying it in the back of the goal.
At the beginning of the second half Camp Hill came back strongly in an aggressive attacking mode, with productive passing and strong shots.
Malvern scored their second goal when a clearance from their own goal-line reached Emma Marks inside the attacking half, after beating two defenders the ball was crossed to Kt Smith, who slipped it past the goalie.
This result inspires much confidence to the future of the team and their league position.
