MALVERN players will again be hoping to be among the winners at the annual Worcestershire Junior Schools' Chess Competition.
The event is being held at Lyppard Grange Community Centre in Warndon, Worcester, tomorrow (Saturday).
It is organised by Worcestershire Chess Association and is open to schools and individuals for an entry fee of £2. There will be prizes and medals for the winners.
Malvern primary schools were well represented last year, with pupils from Northleigh and Malvern Parish winning prizes in the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 sections.
The competition is being held from 9.30am to 1.30pm and further information is available on 01905 773812.
