ROCK legend Van Morrison is playing two dates at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall.
The gigs provide fans with a rare chance to see the maestro in a small venue - the 350-seat hall contrasts with the usual thousand-seater venues he plays.
Hall director Chris Jaeger said: "We're absolutely thrilled to have Van Morrison playing at Huntingdon Hall.
"Where else in the country could you experience an evening with Van in such a unique and intimate surrounding?"
Van Morrison burst on to the music scene in the mid-60s with Them, followed by a solo career that has seen him produce classic albums such as Astral Weeks, Moondance and Inarticulate Speech of the Heart.
Now signed to classic jazz label Blue Note, he continues to play a busy schedule of gigs in Europe and the US.
The gigs are on Sunday, December 11, at 5.30pm and 8.15pm. Tickets are £44.50.
